Chevy Chase Land Company is planning to redevelop their office building into a mixed-use edifice up to 250 feet tall. The new building could deliver up to 290 residential units atop up to 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. However, Saul Centers recently went under contract to buy the property, expecting to close on the deal January 2019 and acknowledged in its earning report the site's potential as a mixed-use building with 325 apartments and 10,000 square feet of retail.
