Edens, Great Gulf and architect Shalom Baranes have plans in the works for the market building that is the neighborhood's namesake and an adjacent parcel. Plans propose adding 1,600 square feet of retail and nearly 224,000 square feet of loft office space above the existing market building. On the adjacent parcel, a second building would be constructed from the ground up, delivering residential units above 22,000 square feet of street-level retail.
