As a by-right development, Foulger-Pratt and Safeway plan to replace the 50,000 square-foot grocery store with a 50 foot-tall building containing a new 60,000 square-foot Safeway and an additional 10,000 square-foot retail space beneath three floors. Approximately 70 percent of the apartments will be studios and one-bedrooms (including some one-bedrooms with dens) and the remainder will be two-bedrooms (including some two-bedrooms with dens). Thirty-three of the apartments will go to households earning up to 60 percent of area median income.
