Five+ years after WMATA awarded development rights for the 1.8 acres at 10th and Monroe Streets NE, a ground lease has yet to be executed. MRP Realty and May Riegler proposed residential units across two buildings with 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. In late 2023, WMATA held public hearings and an open comment period to solicit community input.
