2425 Mill Rd
Alexandria
Red Fox Development is taking plans for a 31-story residential tower at 2425 Mill Road before the Alexandria Planning Commission in November. If approved, the project would become the tallest at-grade building in Alexandria, topping out around 365 feet, and redefining the city’s architectural profile. The proposed development will include up to 767 residential units, with a mix of layouts. On the ground floor, plans call for approximately 40,000 square feet of retail, creating an active streetscape. Parking will be largely underground, with space for over 900 vehicles. Amenities include a pool, pickleball court, coworking lounge, and dog park, located across terraced levels of the building, a design move that seeks to break up the tower’s scale. The project hopes to secure necessary approvals by later this year or early 2026. Construction could begin as soon as 2027, with delivery expected by 2030.
