True Ground Housing Partners has filed plans with Arlington County for a new 249-unit affordable project at the site Leckey Gardens, a 40-unit garden-style apartment building at 2031-2037 North Woodrow Street. Leckey Gardens will be redeveloped to make way for the new building. "In accordance with the Area Plan, the proposed building will be 10-stories tall at its highest point along 21st Street North and will step down incrementally to 4-stories along 20th Road North," the filing stated. "The units will be supported by 222 parking spaces that will be located in a two-level garage that will be accessed from North Woodstock Street."
