Two and a half years after breaking ground, The Stacks, a massive project in the works for seven acres in Buzzard Point, is opening The Byron, a 14-story, nearly 400-unit apartment building. The Byron is the first residential building to open to residents at The Stacks. Once complete, The Stacks will consist of two million square feet of mixed-use space, including over 2,000 residential units, 80,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, up to 250,000 square feet of office, one or two hotels, and a 15,000 square-foot park along V Street. The development team consists of Akridge, National Real Estate Advisors, Blue Coast Capital and Bridge Investment Group.
