As part of a due diligence study, Dila Development has filed a preliminary concept with DC's Historic Preservation Board for a new nine-story condominium building just south of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1610 Columbia Road NW. The plans for the new building, designed by Axis Architects, appear to be part of bigger plans for the church property.
