Velocity Property Management and Chevy Chase-based New Legacy Partners LLC purchased the 34,000-square-foot, five-story Salvation Army building in January 2023 for $17 million. The plans for a condominium project to replace the former headquarters were approved by the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) in November 2023.
