Rockville Pike Corridor

Kimco Realty has proposed a two-building residential project for Pike Center. Plans recently filed with Montgomery County call for the two-phase development to begin construction in the coming years. The first phase would be a seven-level, 270-unit building with parking and 37,000 square feet of retail that could accommodate an anchor tenant. During this phase, a portion of the shopping center will remain, as well as the existing surface parking lot. The second phase is planned as a 16-story, 470-unit residential building with a parking garage, as well as a half-acre Neighborhood Green along Rockville Pike.
