Walmart in partnership with JBG Rosenfeld is developing multiple stores in the DC area including one adjacent to Gonzaga High School on a former Government Printing Office parking lot. The 83,000 sq. ft. store offers more groceries than a typical Walmart, as well as another 10,000 sq. ft. of retail on site. The building is topped by four stories of residential with a 280,000 sq. ft. building containing 303 apartments. MV+A Architects and The Preston Partnership handled the designs.
