United General Contractors has filed plans with DC's Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) to replace an abandoned house in Deanwood with a 36-unit apartment building. The proposed development would be located at 4915 Quarles Street NE, about a block away from the Deanwood Recreation Center. The market-rate apartment project would consist of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, and would adhere to the city's Inclusionary Zoning requirements. There will be ten off-street parking spaces in the back of the development.
