The Ruben Companies has plans in the works for a 263-unit apartment building at 1100 South Capitol Street SE just north of Nationals Park and adjacent to St. Vincent de Paul church. The 130-foot tall building is designed by Eric Colbert & Associates and Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The building will have 162 parking spaces, as well as a courtyard with various outdoor "rooms", and a rooftop pool. The developer applied for a two-year extension on the project back in October 2024.
