EDENS has plans for a two-building residential development that will take the place of the Motel 6 building and Maurice Electric parking lot just off of New York Avenue. There will be apartments as well as 190 below-grade parking spaces and approximately 30,000 square feet of retail. Approximately 13% of the units will be affordable. The development will require an approved change in the zoning from PDR-1 (production, distribution and repair) to MU-9A (mixed-use development).
