The Louis

Louis is a mixed-use project that replaced a variety of fast food establishments on the west side of 14th Street just south of U Street. The project includes a 9-story, 267-unit apartment building with 30,000 square feet of street level retail. The JBG Companies partnered with developer Georgetown Strategic Capital after their original plans stalled (originally the project was called Utopia). Construction started at the end of February 2012. JBG and Georgetown Strategic Capital worked with architect Eric Colbert & Associates and interior designer Cecconi Simone on the project.
