Eight new penthouse residences will be formed in an existing cooperative building in the 1,650 unit River Place complex. The space was formerly occupied by the Bella Vista restaurant that closed in 1982. Owner Waqas Ali has hired FMS Properties LLC to handle the renovation. The views from from the 11th floor penthouses will be a large selling feature. Residences will feature 11' ceiling heights and floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the views.
