Douglas Development purchased this site in 2009 after a previous developer's plans for a 70-unit luxury condominium called Maxim resulted in a foreclosure. The developer has considered plans ranging from a single story retail space to a 6-story mixed-use building with retail on the lower level(s) and residential above.
