The District

Logan Circle

The District is a new 125-unit apartment building being developed by The JBG Companies & Grosvenor. The developer is working with DC based architecture firm Shalom Baranes and Toronto based interior design firm Cecconi Simone. The building's unit mix will tend toward smaller units with approximately 85% being studios and 1BRs and the remainder 2BRs. The building will be located at the site of the former Whitman-Walker Clinic, a historic structure at the northeast corner of 14th & S Streets that will be integrated into the project. The building will feature street level retail along 14th Street. Originally conceived as condominiums for sale, the developer announced they will be switching the building to a rental apartment on November 29, 2011.
