Fox Gate was approved by Loudoun County in June of 2011. The mixed-use project by Valley Villages LLC calls for 110 residential units and almost 1.2 million sq. ft. of office, commercial, retail, hotel and civic space. The two-phase project is expected to cost about $250 million. The project will include 560,000 sq. ft. of office space and 300,000 sq. ft. of retail with an underground garage serving the entire development. A visitors' center is planned as well.
