Cell Phone Coverage Coming to Metro
According to an announcement this week from WMATA, the four major wireless carriers have begun installing hardware in Metro's 20 busiest underground stations with the goal of enabling cell phone coverage by this fall. System-wide coverage is slated for October 2012. More after the jump
