The Matchbox 20 lyric actually has a fair amount of relevance to this post. A number of DC-based blogs (DCist and Wonkette, among others) are reporting the unfortunate news that the cast of MTV's The Real World will soon be moving into the enormous brick house that you have probably passed on the corner of 20th and S Streets.
