Roadside Development and Sekisui House plan to restore the roughly 430,000 square-foot property. A pedestrian walkway would be inserted behind, and up to seven buildings that will include a mix of housing, office space, hotels, retail and below-grade parking. DC's first Wegmans will anchor the commercial development. Rodman Street will be extended to the park at the rear of the site, and the nearly 3 acres of green space at the front of the site will also be activated to create a community amenity.
