In Under Contract this week we look at several properties that UrbanTurf has featured that were on the market for about a month before being snatched up by a buyer.

MacArthur Boulevard Three-Bedroom Townhouse with Landscaped Garden
When we featured this MacArthur Boulevard townhouse a month ago, we noted that the thing that caught UrbanTurf’s eye about the listing was the patio and landscaped, terraced garden in the rear of the house (see above). In addition to that, the layout was a little peculiar, as it consists of two bedrooms on the property’s top floor and a lower level in-law suite that has a full bathroom, kitchen and a separate entrance. The property was on the market for 31 days before finding a buyer.

- Price: $765,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: Three
- Year Built: 1939
- Days on Market: 31

814 Square-Foot Mount Pleasant One-Bedroom
UrbanTurf fell pretty hard for this one-bedroom condo in Mount Pleasant when we featured it in What $370,000 Buys You last month. The listing sits on the top floor of The Alroy, a 50-unit building in the middle of the neighborhood’s commercial corridor. At 814 square feet, it is pretty large by one-bedroom standards in DC, and the majority of that space is located in the best part of the unit (in our opinion): the living room and attached solarium. Despite our affinity for it, the unit took over a month to find a buyer.
- Address: 1615 Kenyon Street NW, #53 (map)
- Price: $369,000
- Bedrooms: One
- Bathrooms: One
- Square Footage: 814
- Days on Market: 43

Woodley Park Three-Bedroom Built By Henry Wardman
Homes designed by Henry Wardman like this three-bedroom can be found all over the District, but Woodley Park is full of them. Built in the mid-1920s, the home conforms to the more traditional design common in the hundreds of homes that Wardman built, but it also has a new kitchen, a family room that leads to a large deck, and third-level attic loft space. There is a two-car garage at the property, which sits not far from the zoo, as well as a rear driveway that can fit another two cars. The listing was on the market for just under a month before finding a buyer.
- Full listing: 2707 Woodley Place NW (map)
- Price: $975,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: Three
- Year Built: 1925
- Days on Market: 25
