2765 Fort Scott Drive
Almost a year ago to the day, UrbanTurf covered a David Jameson-designed home in Maryland that was listed privately by the owner. Today, another home designed by the acclaimed DC-based architect is hitting the market in northern Virginia.
Designed for a couple with an extensive art collection, Jameson’s goal when he transformed the Arlington home in 2008 and 2009 was to create a place for every piece. A second story addition was constructed on the 1940s home, which is highlighted with large windows and long, open walls to exhibit the couple’s many works.
Master bedroom dressing room.
The highlights of the listing include a master suite with a 300 square-foot dressing room and closet, a bridge built over the kitchen connecting rooms on the second floor, and a media room with a built-in sound system. There is also a 700 square-foot terrace and a lower-level two-bedroom unit.
