This Week's Find takes mid-century modern style to the max.
For one thing, the four-bedroom house is in Rock Creek Woods, a collection of 76 mid-century houses off Connecticut Avenue in Silver Spring. For another, all of the homes in Rock Creek Woods were designed by known mid-century modern architect Charles Goodman.

The current owner had always wanted to buy a mid-century modern home and deck it out in the corresponding style, so renovating and furnishing the house was a dream design project. The result is a home that feels like stepping into the past without sacrificing modern comforts.
Triangular accents on the exterior were a recent addition, as were the stone block fences with circular cut-outs. Inside, the house has been furnished, down to the bedsheets, in mid-century style, including several pieces of furniture from Herman Miller, mid-century tables from Saarinen, and tension pole light fixtures sourced from eBay.
Most of the furnishings can be negotiated to convey with the house with one noteworthy exception -- the bubble accent walls in the main living spaces. The wood-paneled walls, flooring, and the dual brick fireplace in the living room are original to the house.
