When Dan and Tanya Snyder couldn't sell their 30,000 square foot home in Potomac, Md., the former owners of the Washington Commanders donated the property to the American Cancer Society. Now that home is being offered at a nice discount compared to its original price.
On Monday, the listing price for the 30,000 square foot home that was originally built for Jordan’s King Hussein and Queen Noor was reduced from $34.9 million to $29.9 million.

It has been a pretty long road for the former Snyder estate. The home was first listed for sale privately in 2018 for $49 million. It then came on the market, publicly for the same price early last year; the price dropped to $34.9 million in August. The Snyders then donated the house to the American Cancer Society this spring, and the organization promptly put it back on the market.
Snyder built the 30,000 square foot home in 2004. The house, listed with Cara Pearlman and Han Peruzzi of Compass, sits on 13.5 acres, and includes a main five-bedroom house as well as a two-bedroom guesthouse, a 12-car garage, and a pool. Fittingly, there is also a burgundy and gold basketball court.
