With 2025 almost in the rear view, today UrbanTurf is taking a look at the DC zip code where home prices rose the most this year.
For the second year in a row, the 20008 zip code, home to portions of the Forest Hills, Van Ness, Cleveland Park, Woodley Park and Kalorama neighborhoods, leads the way. The zip code is home to a high volume of smaller condos and co-ops as well as some of the city's more expensive homes.
Median home prices in the area rose 18%, thanks to a high volume of sales in the upper bracket of the single-family home sector, as well as a surprisingly high number of condos and co-ops sales. The 18% price increase comes even as the zip code is closing in on 350 home sales by the end of the year.
