World Series winning pitcher Stephen Strasburg's former McLean home was scheduled to hit the market late last week. A buyer swooped in before that happened.
The nearly 12,000 square-foot house was set to hit the market for $9.25 million with Jennifer Thornett and Micah Corder of Washington Fine Properties last Friday. However, the listing went under contract 24 hours before that was scheduled to happen. It is a quick turnaround for the six-bedroom home, which sold just last September for $8.55 million.

Built in 2020, the property was customized during Strasburg's time with the Nats, and includes a state-of-the-art kitchen with two large islands, a theatre room, a gym, and a pool house with a gas fireplace and TV, as well as an outdoor kitchen with bar seating and a Viking grill.
