Standard Eleven, an eleven-unit condo project three blocks west of the Mount Vernon Square Metro Station, is set to deliver this summer. The project at 1109 M Street NW (map) is not far from the development hustle and bustle along the 9th Street corridor.
Adam Stifel of project developer CAS Riegler told UrbanTurf that they will be starting sales this spring and should have a model unit open by mid-May. Stifel said that The Ace Hotel chain was an inspiration for the style of the project, and residents who get in early will have several upgrade options that go along with the “vintage rock-and-roll” finishes, like Big Chill refrigerators and Sonos wireless sound systems. Residents will also have their choice of hardwood stains and tiles.
Standard Eleven will be comprised of efficiencies, one- and two-bedroom units, with several two-story condos and loft-style penthouses, ranging in size from 500 to 1,100 square feet. All the units are designed with outdoor space and access to a roof deck with a bar area and an iPod docking station. No word yet on pricing.

CAS Riegler is also planning a 54-unit condo project at the former Fight Club space on 9th Street.
