DC foodies take note: Top Chef finalist and local up-and-coming celeb Carla Hall will be at The Embassy Condominium this weekend preparing free, delicious food for anyone who shows up.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 24th from 3 to 6pm and Sunday, April 25th from noon to 3pm.
Carla’s appearance is in celebration of The Embassy’s grand opening. The beautifully-converted 1920s building has a total of 76 units, and the Art Deco details of the exterior make a stately impression that earned the building a write-up in Best Addresses, the authoritative book on DC’s classic buildings.
Located at 1613 Harvard Street NW (map), The Embassy is right at the intersection of Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant. The Columbia Heights Metro station is only a few blocks away.
The Embassy has studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, starting from $194,900. The kitchens in the units have stainless steel appliances and maple cabinetry and the units all have hardwood floors throughout. The building also has a fitness center and media lounge.
No RSVP is necessary to come and meet Carla Hall at this weekend’s opening. If you can’t make it this weekend, you can swing by the building during the week to take a look. The sales center is open daily from 11am to 5pm and can be reached at 202.986.8818. See the website for more details.
