Lindsay Reishman Real Estate (LRRE), a prominent residential real estate brokerage located in Dupont Circle, has announced the appointment of Marcus Jaffe as Managing Director. Jaffe will work alongside LRRE’s Founder and CEO, Lindsay Reishman, to steadily expand the firm’s cadre of agents, focusing on quality over quantity. LRRE’s business approach — founded on the belief that there is a need for specialization and quality control within the Washington, DC-area real estate community — relies on substantial administrative and marketing staff support, enabling its agents to focus more on the client.
“I joined LRRE because I believe that we have the business model of the future,” said Jaffe of his new position. “In speaking with hundreds of agents I’ve found that what they want is a leadership dedicated to success, strong professional development, and a support staff dedicated to helping them reach their goals. That’s something I believe Lindsay Reishman Real Estate does better than anyone else in today’s marketplace.”
Jaffe joins LRRE with over 12 years of real estate experience and a background in law. After earning his law degree from Boston’s New England School of Law, he began working in Washington, DC, in 1999 as a settlement attorney for RGS Title. The position earned him intimate knowledge of all aspects of the DC real estate industry. Prior to joining Lindsay Reishman Real Estate, Jaffe was also CEO and team leader at Keller Williams Capital Properties, where he played a key role in building the company’s presence in the real estate market.
“I’ve known Marcus for years and have always thought highly of him. I’m really excited to have him join our team,” said Reishman. “I believe that together we’re going to be able to run a brokerage that will differentiate itself from the competition.”
LRRE is looking to selectively add four quality agents before the end of the year, followed by eight more agents in 2012. The firm specializes in townhouses, condos and co-ops in some of DC’s most desirable downtown neighborhoods — Logan, Dupont, Adam’s Morgan and the U Street Corridor — and strives to be the go-to resource for busy working professionals in downtown DC.
Jaffe officially began as LRRE’s Managing Director on September 6th, 2011. For more information on Lindsay Reishman Real Estate, please visit http://www.reishmanrealestate.com.
