How Much for an Indoor/Outdoor Home Near Santa Monica?

In our weekly departure from DC-related real estate fare, we bring back the popular price-guessing game for homes in other metropolitan areas. In this installment, we head to the warm climes of Los Angeles where we ask you to give us the price of a four-bedroom modern home near Santa Monica.

The home was designed by an award-winning team of architects from Iceland. Apparently in Iceland, a lot of the living occurs outside (we kid) as the firm positioned the only dining room in the house outdoors, and created an outdoor sleeping area (see above) off the back of the house. We appreciate these features given that this is L.A. where the weather is usually nice enough to lounge outside. A number of reused materials were also used in the building of the house, including recycled tires, and all the walls are paint free.
Post your guesses in the comments section below. And remember, be fair and don’t do any research of your own.
