Georgetown Condo Closes For $5.3 Million, Second Most Expensive Sale of Year

The second priciest condo to sell in DC this year closed last week.
The three-bedroom at the Ritz-Carlton residences in Georgetown sold for $5.35 million. Listed with Christie-Anne Weiss of TTR Sotheby's International Realty, the listing originally hit the market in April for $5.495 million. Ethan Drath and Nancy Taylor-Bubes of Washington Fine Properties represented the buyer.

The nearly 4,000 square-foot penthouse sits on the southwest corner of the building, offering incredible views of the Potomac River from almost every room. With this sale, the Ritz-Carlton now has the two most expensive condo sales in the city this year -- another three-bedroom sold in March, closing for $6.5 million.
