Bob Woodward's Watergate Apartment Hits the Market

In Bob Woodward's book The Secret Man: The Story of Watergate’s Deep Throat, the reporter writes that when Deep Throat (Mark Felt) wanted to meet with him about the Watergate scandal, Felt would circle page 20 in Woodward’s daily New York Times and then draw a clock in the lower part of the page to signal what time they should meet in a Rosslyn parking garage.

If Woodward wanted to meet, he would put a flag in a flower pot on the balcony of his apartment at the Webster House in Dupont Circle.

Now, that storied unit is looking for a new owner. The one-bedroom hit the market for $349,000 on Thursday. Formerly a studio, the 450 square-foot condo was converted into a one-bedroom about seven years ago. The time seems appropriate for another muckracker to live there. Details of the unit are below.
