In this week’s edition of Best New Listings, we look at an (almost) picture perfect three-bedroom townhouse in Mount Pleasant, a renovated row house near the H Street Corridor and a magazine-featured one-bedroom unit near the U Street Corridor.
An (Almost) Picture Perfect Three-Bedroom in Mount Pleasant

1913 Park Road NW (map)
- Price: $699,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: 1.5
- Year Built: 1910
Aside from being jealous of the person who eventually buys this house, we were having some trouble picking out things that might be wrong with this three-bedroom home in Mount Pleasant. Elevated from the street, the home has a nice front porch, a living room with a fireplace, a separate dining room and a kitchen with an enormous window that looks out to a back patio. The master bedroom is quite big and the smallest of the three bedrooms has a nice balcony off of it. We did find the one downside to the home: it has just 1.5 bathrooms. Renovated Row House Just Off H Street

727 11th Street NE (map)
- Price: $550,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: 2.5
- Year Built: 1900
It seems that renovated homes in the new and improved H Street Corridor are hitting the market daily and this property is evidence of that trend. The three-bedroom row house just around the corner from Granville Moore’s has the usual package of features that refurbished homes offer these days (new kitchen, exposed brick, updated bathrooms), but it also has a large back garden, an off-street parking space and the home has been outfitted with central air for DC’s humid summers. Magazine-Featured One-Bedroom Unit Near the U Street Corridor

1518 Swann Street NW, #2 (map)
- Price: $365,000
- Bedrooms: One
- Bathrooms: One
- Square Footage: 550
According to the listing description, this unit was featured in Home & Garden magazine, which could have been for any number of reasons including a large wall of windows that brightens up the living room, the reclaimed hardwood floors throughout, the small patio and/or the exposed brick and wood-burning fireplace. The other eye-catching thing about this condo, which straddles the U Street Corridor and Logan Circle, is the condo fee: just $79/month. For the full listing, click here.
