A new all-affordable development is on the boards for the site of an older apartment building in Adams Morgan.
Champlain Street Partners LLC has filed a planned unit development (PUD) with DC that would bring a 44-unit affordable building to 2384 Champlain Street NW (map). The address is currently home to a 32-unit apartment building, which will be redeveloped.
The new TEASS\WARREN-designed building will be affordable to households earning 30%-80% median family income. The development team also includes Housing Help Plus, MED Developers, and Mutreja Development LLC, DC-are developers that focus on affordable housing.
The new project adds to the growing list of new affordable projects in Adams Morgan, including three currently in the works around the neighborhood's main drag.
