A brand new houseboat is offering a budget buying option for DC homebuyers.
The 35-foot listing that recently landed in the Navy Yard Marina was constructed earlier this year in Florida and has just four miles on it. The residence was recently listed with the Dwell Bloc Real Estate Group for $190,000.

The 400 square-foot studio layout is fairly efficient with separate kitchen and bedroom areas, and a number of smart home features for controlling lighting and security. The bedroom area has space for a Queen bed, while the kitchen is outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances.
The houseboat also offers both a rooftop and a deck to take advantage of the outdoor environment. It should be noted that the eventual buyer of this houseboat cannot live on in its current slip at the Navy Yard marina.
