Pulte Homes and Clark Realty are developing a transit-oriented mixed-use community on 55 acres of land just south of the Vienna Metro. The project will consist of 2,248 total homes, 1,600 of which will be high-rise multi-family units concentrated near the metro. Low & mid-rise multifamily, two-over-two stacked town homes and single-family towns will make up the remainder of the residential transitioning away from the metro. Metro West is designed to accommodate a minimum of 100,000 sq. ft. of retail, service, institutional and governmental space, and 300,000 sq. ft. of office space. After years of a wait and see mentality, Pulte started sales of the townhomes in the summer of 2011.
