Fort Totten Square
New mixed-use development near the Fort Totten Metro by Lowe Enterprises & The JBG Cos. The first phase of the project will include between 350 apartments, totaling 240,000 sq. ft., around 20 percent of which will be rented at below-market rates. There will be a retail component totaling 70,000 sq. ft. fronting Riggs Road, the majority of which will be for an "urban-format" Walmart with grocery store. Phase two calls for around 400 more apartments and more retail.
