Merrifield

Second phase of additional mixed-use development at the Merrifield Metro adding 436 mid-rise apartments in two 6-story buildings, one of which is loft style, and 13,600 sq. ft. of retail. Developed by DSF Group out of Boston, phase 1 broke ground in March of 2010. DSF received financing for phase 2 of Halstead Square in April 2011 from PNC Bank & Federal Capital Partners. In total Halstead Square will add 50,000 sq. ft. of retail, 854 residential units, and a 150-room Kimpton Hotel to the Halstead at the Metro condominiums completed in 2006. Amenities include a fitness center with an indoor sports court and an outdoor swimming pool with an outdoor theater, fireplace and bocce court. Units will have 10-foot ceilings and hardwood flooring.
