Originally conceived by Abbey Road Property Group, 2201 N. Pershing is the redevelopment of the Lee Shopping Center at the corner of N. Pershing Dr. and Rt. 50 across from Ft. Myer. In March of 2010 Equity Residential (EQR) purchased the site from Abbey Road and construction started at the end of 2010. The approximately $75 million mixed-use project will consist of residential over retail including 188 rental apartments, 33,495 square feet of ground floor retail, and underground and at-grade structured parking.
