Buchanan Partners Harris Teeter

Old Town

Buchanan Partners and Pinkard Group plan a 51,500 sq. ft. Harris Teeter with 175 apartments above and garage parking below ground. Located at the north side of Old Town one block from Washington Street. Harris Teeter originally had planned to be located at The Madison apartments a few blocks away, but pulled out in 2007. Harris Teeter signed a lease with the Buchanan/Pinkard partnership in the spring of 2011. The plans were approved by Alexandria city council in June of 2011. Construction is expected to start in early 2012.
