Macerich, owner of Tysons Corner mall, is the master developer of large scale redevelopment of the mall to eventually include higher density residential, office, and hotel. Kettler was selected as the residential developer of the 28-story first phase in August 2012. Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, which has been an investor in the mall since 1985, is partnering with Macerich to provide additional financing.
