1800 Wilson Boulevard:
The Units Are Almost Gone!
1800 Wilson Boulevard is one of Arlington’s more popular residential developments largely due to its proximity to restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Its dwindling inventory is representative of its reputation. Of its original 156 units, just three are currently left on the market, as of June 10, 2008.
Location
1800 Wilson Boulevard is located at the address for which it is named in Arlington, VA. It is almost equidistant from both Key Bridge and Memorial Bridge, and it is walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Rosslyn, Courthouse and Clarendon (just about a mile up Wilson Boulevard). And, perhaps most importantly, it sits across the street from UrbanTurf management favorite, Pho 75. For an annotated map that highlights establishments in the area, click here.
Living Space
Completed in late-2006, the development was designed by SK&I Architectural Group, the same firm that designed the U Street development, The Flats at Union Row. SK&I also designed the Avant Condominium in Glover Park and 1441 Rhode Island Avenue in Logan Circle.
The development has 156 residential units of which just three are still available for purchase. The remaining units are two-bedrooms or two-bedrooms with a loft. The square footage on the available listings ranges from 1,047 square feet to approximately 1,250 square feet. No one-bedroom units are available.
The CO1 model, one of the remaining two-bedrooms, is slightly smaller than the other two-bedroom units. The living and dining area (approx. 13ft.x22ft.) bisects the unit with the two bedrooms off to each side of it. The kitchen is at the far end of the living and dining area. There are two bathrooms off of each of the bedrooms. The other remaining two bedroom model, C04, is just slightly larger, but the layout is virtually the same.
The two-bedroom, loft model has a different floorplan. When entering the apartment, there is a hallway that leads to the living room/kitchen area. Just before you reach that area, there are two bedrooms directly across the hall from one another. In the living area, there are stairs to the lofted space.

Price Range for Available Units
| Two Bedrooms | $489,000 to $549,000 (approximately) |

| Two Bedroom w/Loft | $649,000 |
Parking & Transportation
Each unit at 1800 Wilson comes with a reserved underground parking space. This is a huge amenity. This area of Arlington is an increasingly popular place for people to live, and that means that street parking spaces are becoming harder to find at the end of the day.
The development is walking distance to two Metro stops: the Rosslyn Blue and Orange Line and the Court House Orange Line. The proximity to both these stops make it extremely easy for commuters to get into DC for work.
Bottom Line
Little bad can be said about 1800 Wilson Boulevard. The amenities are top-notch, the location is ideal for someone who works in DC, but doesn’t want to live there, and the units themselves have the typical gleam that is representative of every high-end condo development these days.
UrbanTurf received word that a huge push is on to close out the remaining condos in the coming weeks which means two things. One, there are probably some deals to be made if you are in the market. And two, you need to act fast.
Example Apartment
Price—$539,900
Condo/HOA Fees—$430
The 1,047 square-foot two-bedroom, two-bath unit on the 3rd floor is currently on the market and is a corner unit which means that it gets a good deal of natural light. The apartment has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and walk-in closets. The unit comes with a washer and dryer, a dishwasher and an underground parking space.
