As HipchickinDC reported, the row house at 1480 Harvard Street NW sold for $700,000 last year, when it was in rough shape. Hipchick correctly assumed that a developer has scooped up the property; the home is now a condo conversion with four units. This condo takes up the top two levels of the building, and the developer made some stylish choices, putting in oversized windows, a shower for two, and a large rooftop deck. The window in the shower of the second bathroom, however, may deter shy buyers.

    That is a really good deal for the I street property. I forsee that going close to 800k at final closing.

    Carriage house is great, put a full bath upstairs make that the bedroom, make lower level bath 1/2 bath and make kitchen larger and you have a great rental unit. That would be work the money to invest in doing that

    Agreed re I st property. Similar houses (but with basements instead of a carriage house) have been selling for 825k or so. I still haven’t seen any pictures of the inside of this house, though, so who knows.

    That I street property is a steal with a carriage house.  Inside looks great but a bit dated.  Only negative is no parking.
