Last week, we featured this two-bedroom unit in our What X Buys You feature, and it took all of 6 days for it to go under contract. Listed at $599,500, the condo in Mount Pleasant is part of a two-unit development called The Glenbrook, and it is the ground and first floor of the building. There are no walls that separate one room from another on the main floor, so the living area, dining area and kitchen all flow together. Both bedrooms are on the lower level and the fact that the second bedroom is not very large has been an issue for some prospective buyers. There is a parking space in the back of the property, and a small front porch. The interesting thing about this unit is its price history. Initially listed for $749,000 back in 2008, the property has been on and off the market with numerous price reductions, eventually landing at $599,500. Looks like it was priced to sell this time.

Just a few days after featuring this two-bedroom condo near Eastern Market in our Best New Listings feature, it went under contract. Listed for $439,900, the home was priced well given its location. In addition to a renovated kitchen and bathroom, the unit has a large living room with a fireplace and three large bay windows. There are high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout the condo and the current owner has a rental parking space across the street that will remain available for the next owner.
