Twelve New Rowhouses Planned For Site Near Anacostia Metro
The District-owned land slated for re-development on Hunter Place SE
Manna has filed plans with the Board of Zoning Adjustment to construct twelve rowhouses not far from the Anacostia Metro station.
The 23,000 square-foot site at 2200-2210 Hunter Place SE (map) is District-owned vacant land, and Manna seeks to build 12 three-bedroom, two-bathroom rowhouses on the parcel. Two of the homes will be made available to households making up to 50 percent of area median income (AMI), while an additional eight will be for households making up to 80 percent AMI.
The proposal requests relief from minimum lot occupancy and rear yard requirements, as the site will necessitate each house having a unique footprint.
