The Best Open Houses in the DC Area: The Two-Bedroom Edition

For this week’s installment of Best Open Houses, we look at two-bedroom properties that are opening their doors this weekend. These properties include a two-bedroom loft in Columbia Heights, a two-bedroom condo in a Logan Circle row house and a 1920s bungalow in North Arlington.

Two-Bedroom Loft in Columbia Heights Where the Photos Sell the Unit

The photos of this two-bedroom + den condo in Columbia Heights may be the best advertisement for a listing that we have seen in awhile.    What’s up with the ridiculous condo fees?  The Columbia Heights condo fee is over $300 and there’s no pool or fitness center.  And the DC condo at over $600 is insane.  A fitness center and parking garage is not enough to justify this. With that fee, a pool and free utilities should also be included.

   These are typical monthly condo fees in the District. For parking you pay a premium, but in my two-month search for a new home, these are fairly on point.
