Six months after beginning sales, The Embassy Condominium has sold half its units. The building is now offering $10,000 toward closing on some of the remaining units, plus the added bonus of a free pool membership to anyone who buys before the summer ends.

The Embassy is a beautifully-converted 1920s building with 76 units. The Art Deco details of the exterior make a stately impression that earned the building a write-up in Best Addresses, the authoritative book on DC’s classic buildings.

The Embassy is comprised of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. There is only one studio remaining, priced at $202,900 (see the full listing). The remaining one-bedroom units are priced from the mid-$300's and the two-bedrooms from the mid-$400's. The units all have hardwood floors as well as kitchens with stainless steel appliances and maple cabinetry. The building also has a fitness center and media lounge.

Located at 1613 Harvard Street NW (map), The Embassy is right at the intersection of Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant. The Columbia Heights Metro station is only a few blocks away.

"Most of the buyers at The Embassy are people who live in this neighborhood," sales agent Barbara Causey said. "They love the area, and didn't want to leave."

Interested buyers can contact Barbara or Yumin Chung, call 202.986.8818, or just swing by the building to take a look. The sales center is open daily from 11am to 5pm. See the website for more details.
