One of the fastest-selling condos in DC just reduced the price on its last remaining units.

Union Row in the U Street Corridor announced on Friday that it has reduced the asking prices on the 13 units that it has left, making the already sought-after development even more attractive. The Flats at Union Row was the fifth fastest-selling project in the entire DC metropolitan area, according to the ranking we published last week. Within the District itself, The Flats was the third fastest-selling project.

We spent a good amount of time touring those units this past weekend and here are some highlights to whet your appetite.

Unit 315W, a 2,150 square-foot, 2.5-level, townhome-style unit, has perhaps one of the most unique rooms we have seen in DC: a glass-walled retreat at the top of the loft that offers a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding area. Unit 602 is our personal favorite — we call it “The Lifestyle Unit.” Not only does it have a spacious living and kitchen area, it also boasts a 900 square-foot terrace with a gas line to add your own grill for barbecues with you and your 100 closest friends. If that is not enough outdoor space for you, Unit 816 has a wrap-around terrace that measures out at a palatial 1,555 square feet, room for an outdoor living room and a secluded dining or grilling area – with enough left over for a bocce ball court. Perhaps the greatest amenity of all is the proximity to U Street, just one block away, putting even more restaurants, retail, and the Metro at residents’ fingertips.
