Sponsored Post: Union Row Drops Prices on Remaining 13 Units

One of the fastest-selling condos in DC just reduced the price on its last remaining units.

Union Row in the U Street Corridor announced on Friday that it has reduced the asking prices on the 13 units that it has left, making the already sought-after development even more attractive. The Flats at Union Row was the fifth fastest-selling project in the entire DC metropolitan area, according to the ranking we published last week. Within the District itself, The Flats was the third fastest-selling project.

Covering an entire city block on 14th Street between V and W, Union Row includes two buildings, The Flats and The Warehouses, which offer “loft-style” residences with layouts that combine modern finishes with open loft designs. We spent a good amount of time touring those units this past weekend and here are some highlights to whet your appetite.

The Glass-Walled Retreat in Unit 315W

Unit 315W, a 2,150 square-foot, 2.5-level, townhome-style unit, has perhaps one of the most unique rooms we have seen in DC: a glass-walled retreat at the top of the loft that offers a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding area. Unit 602 is our personal favorite — we call it “The Lifestyle Unit.” Not only does it have a spacious living and kitchen area, it also boasts a 900 square-foot terrace with a gas line to add your own grill for barbecues with you and your 100 closest friends. If that is not enough outdoor space for you, Unit 816 has a wrap-around terrace that measures out at a palatial 1,555 square feet, room for an outdoor living room and a secluded dining or grilling area – with enough left over for a bocce ball court. (The great thing about all remaining 13 condos is that each has private outdoor space.)

The lobby of The Flats is decorated with the works of local artists like Colin Winterbottom and the lobby and resident lounge have been outfitted by local furniture store favorite Vastu.

The commitment to supporting local business continues with the ground-floor retail that includes the southern-themed restaurant Eatonville and healthy-minded Yes! Organic Market, as well as green dry cleaner Georgetown Valet and a CVS Pharmacy. Perhaps the greatest amenity of all is the proximity to U Street, just one block away, putting even more restaurants, retail, and the Metro at residents’ fingertips.

Here are some other useful links about the development:

  • Photos of the lobby and resident lounge.
  • Photos of the building exterior.

If you are interested in taking a look at any of these remaining units, call the sales office at 202.232.1997 ex. 103 or visit the website.
